Class 3 - bleach - spots still available!

Hi!

Just wanted to do a little plug for the next class. It is going to be on using bleach on a layout to create an interesting effect.

It will be held on Tuesday the 24th July at 7:30pm, cost is $15

I have 3 seats still available so I am calling for anyone out there who would be interested in taking part. It will be a guaranteed fun night!

I am also calling for anyone who would like to hold a Scrapniques Party. Click here to find out what they are. I am really wanting to get these going so I am offering a special deal!
If you book a Scrapniques Party with me during the month of August, you will go in the running to win a voucher to the online scrap store of your choice. For each person that books a Scrapniques Party in the month of August, the voucher will be upped by $10. So if one person books, the voucher will be $10, but if 5 people book a party, the voucher will be $50. The winner will be drawn at the end of the month.

I do need to have at least a weeks notice for booking these parties, so please get in quick.

Class 2 - keepsake tin

Well last night we had class 2. It was a keepsake tin class. We used my old formula tins.

We had a really good time. There were 2 new people to the class, my good friend Tracey, and Maryruth brought along a friend Zoe. Because Maryruth referred a friend to my classes, Maryruth was able to choose a free gift, she chose some very nice "family moments" stickers.

I also had a door prize raffle for the night (as I do, with every class). It is donated by 3 Angels Scrapping. Last night the door prize was a $10 voucher for their awesome store. Zoe was the lucky winner of the voucher last night - congrats Zoe!

Here are some pics of the class concentrating hard:

Gran working on her tin, with Maryruth and Zoe in the background

Mum working on her tin, with Tracey in the background

The whole class

And here are the finished products...

My sample

Mum's "Bits and Bods" tin

Jenna's "crappola" tin

Maryruth's "scrap stuff" tin

Gran's "Marje" tin

Tracey's "Pens N Stuf" tin

Zoe's tin - pic is of her siblings and herself

Thanks to everyone for coming along!

The next class is on using bleach to create an interesting effect to your scrap pages (thanks Dee for the idea!) It will be held on July 24th at 7:30pm. I have 3 spots available. Please email me if you would like to join in.

The following class will be on using felt. It will be held on 21st August at 7:30pm.

Class one homework winner!

Well voting has now closed. Oh my goodness was the voting close! Like I mean really really really close - it was a tie until the last day!!! I was worried about what I would do if there was a tie! I can understand why though. Each of the pages were so amazing in their own way. I was a very proud Mumma of my class that's for sure!

Luckily though, one vote came in yesterday that made a winner.

So, on to the good stuff.... the winner is ....

Maryruth!

Congratulations Maryruth! You have now won the next kit for free!

Here is Maryruth's page for you all to admire again... If parents were flowers...

Our next class is on tonight. We are doing a keepsake tin. I did the sample last night but I haven't taken a photo yet. I might just uplaod the sample with the photos of everyone else's tonight or tomorrow.

Catch you later then!

And the winner is...

CAT!

Thanks so much gorgeous Cat for creating this awesome header for my new blog. You are truly one awesome chicky! A special prize will be on its way to you very soon!

Thanks so much to Ryn and Maria for creating awesome headers for me also. It was a very hard decision to make! I had to call in my hubby to help me make the important decision! Each of the three banners I received were all awesome and totally different from each other. I want to thank you both for taking the time to make a banner for me. I really appreciate it! As a way of saying thank you, I would like to send you a little something also. Ryn, I have your address... but I don't have yours Maria, could you please email it to me? Many thanks again!

I will leave you all now to bask in the glory of Cat's creation... and I will be back on Tuesday with the winner of the homework kit for class one!

Update on header comp...

Do you want to have a go at it, but don't have time before 6pm?

Well don't fret! I would love everyone to have a go at this, so I am extending the cut off time.

I know a lot of people find it hard to scrap when kids are awake, goodness know I do!

So now I am giving you the chance to do it after they go to bed tonight, or once you have had dinner and relaxed a bit.

You now have all night!

I will come back and check in the morning and post the winner before I go out tomorrow!

Get those entries in girlies!

Please vote for Class one

Here are the homework pages from class one.

Each person purchased a kit with all the same products in each kit. There was enough to make 1 layout.

I am now asking whoever visits this site to please vote for their favourite page. The winner gets the next kit for free.

I am not going to say which page belongs to which person, just to keep it fair, but some of you might be able to guess anyway.

Please email your votes to scrapniques@hotmail.com, leaving your name, and the name of the page you are voting for.

One vote per person

Entrants may vote, but not for themselves.

Voting closes Monday 11th June at midnight, so get your votes in!

Here are the pages, in the order I received them.

This blog needs a header!

So, I am going to run a little comp for it.

All you need to do is create a funky header for this blog.

I am looking for something bright, fun, and interesting.

Header must have the words "Scrapniques Classes" in it somewhere.

Header can be either traditional or digital scrapping.

Email your entries to scrapniques@hotmail.com

Entries close Thursday 7th June at 6pm.

I will choose the winner and they will get a cute little prize from me!

So hurry and get those entries in!

Scrapniques Parties

Just thought I would let you all know about "Scrapniques Parties"...

This is where I come to your home, work or wherever (or if space does not allow, you can hold it at my house), you get a bunch of friends together (4-8 is best) and I run a class or a crop.

If you hold a "Scrapniques Party", you will be rewarded with a fantastic scrap hamper as my way of saying thank you.

For a class, there is also a door prize up for grabs. Everyone in attendance gets a free ticket, but you can buy more for only 50c each.

For a crop, I will be running fun challenges and raffles for everyone in attendance.

The cost is $15 per person. And this payment is required a week in advance.

If you would like to book a Scrapniques Party, please email me at scrapniques@hotmail.com

Welcome!

Well here we are! The scrapniques classes has it's own blog now!

Here I will be posting info about upcoming classes, crops and also hosting the voting for my kits.

If you have an queries or suggestions, then please feel free to email me at scrapniques@hotmail.com

Have a good one!

Dannii xx
